Today ended the six-day celebration of Heritage Week at our church, Westminster Presbyterian. It was a time of feasting, movie viewing, candy and popcorn eating, laughter, dancing, chili and dessert competitions, and more feasting. Our conference with Kevin Swanson on Friday and Saturday was a time of learning, listening, discussion, and being convicted. It was a delight to see families join together this week at our different events, to experience the unity of the body of Christ in action as we rejoiced before the Lord!
As our pastor said in his sermon this morning, Heritage Week is a time of joy, fellowship, and thanksgiving - of remembering our Christian heritage and passing it to future generations.
"One generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts." Psalm 145:4
