We've been studying 1800s American history and the Transcontinental Railroad in our homeschool, and wouldn't you know it, the Oregon Historical Society over in Portland decided to have an exhibit on the same thing! Being the good homeschool moms that we are, my co-op partner and I decided to put together a group of students and head on down there. I had hoped to have a few photos of the kids viewing the exhibits, but photography inside the museum was prohibited (bummer!).
Here they are after the tour with their heads full of knowledge. :)
(Yep, this was another, "This happened in January post.")
