Love your children...

"Love your children. Love them deeply. Love them faithfully. Love them without restraint or shame or fear. It will serve you well. It will serve them well. It will serve well your grandchildren. Best of all, it will make manifest the glory of the reign of Jesus Christ over all things." ~RC Sproul Jr.

  1. I like this quote! It's going to be added to my quote book!

    Love you!

  2. Just wanted to add another comment here that is greatly needed to be said for others to know. You, Mom, have done just this to all of us. To all three of us older kids and the two younger. If it wasn't for your and dad's unceasing love without restraint, shame, or fear, we would not have the example of Christ's love exemplified for us. Thank you so much for not giving up on us even when times were hard. I would not take back a day of it. It has brought you and me so close and I thank God for that every day.

I love you. Don't ever forget that. You are a wonderful Mother and I'm proud to be called your daughter. :)

  3. Tears, tears...

You, my beloved daughter, are a joy; you always have been (even when you were a stinker!), but more than that, even when I was one.

Shamefully and with far too much regret, I was the woman in Proverbs 14:1 "...but the foolish (woman) pulls it (her house) down with her own hands."

By God's grace and mercy I (today) rejoice in working hard to be the wise woman building up her house. And by God's grace (ALONE!) I am blessed to have children who rise up and call me blessed; and my husband also. :)

To you, my daughter, I say:

"Many duaghters have done well, but you excel them all. Charm is deceiful nd beauty is passing, bus a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised."

I love you and am looking forward to our visit in two weeks. :)

Thanks so much for visiting; your kind thoughts and questions are always welcome. :)
