Gratituesday - Stainless steel pans, etc.

Let me begin by saying that I never win anything...

But take a look at these shiny stainless steel pans!

I've been wanting to purchase some new stainless steel bread and muffin pans ever since I read this. Who knew? Because of the hefty price tag attached to stainless steel bake ware, I'd put off buying it and hoped that one day I'd receive some as a gift from Dan or the kids (I'm practical that way...).

Enter April's recent giveaway celebrating the 1st anniversary of the Hearth and Soul blog hop. I could not believe it when she e-mailed to let me know that I was the giveaway winner and would be receiving a $50 Amazon gift card! It's not everyday that I go Amazon shopping, but I was sure happy to buy some new pans. I was even happier when the package arrived and even happier still when I baked muffins with my new muffin pan yesterday. :) Thanks, April!!

Another recent giveaway I entered was over at Far Above Rubies. I was blessed to be selected as a winner  for a free download of 31 Days to Clean...

Each of the 31 days includes a Mary challenge and a Martha challenge. I'm looking forward to reading this one over the summer. :)  Thanks, Jasmine!

And as if that weren't enough, an e-mail arrived yesterday announcing that I'd been selected as a winner in a drawing I entered while at the OCEAN homeschool conference in Portland! I'm looking forward to listening to a free download of "Nurturing Competent Communicators" -- a message by Andrew Pudewa (Excellence in Writing). (Thanks, IEW!!)

It's been a fun month! I guess I do win, sometimes, and I'm thankful. How about you? What are you thankful for today?

  7. Mary - Happy Canada Day to you! We have big plans to celebrate Independence Day here on Monday with a group of friends and family. We'll be enjoying some good BBQ, a country dance on the lawn, and surely, a few fireworks. :) Lord willing, I'll be posting pictures next Tuesday.

I found my stainless steel muffin and bread pans on Amazon, but they are also available at www.paulasbread.com (I used Amazon since I had the gift card, the price was lower, and I got free shipping -- woohoo!). With your upcoming b-day, perhaps you'll receive/be able to purchase a pan or two... Not every woman enjoys such practical gifts, but I sure do. :)

    Blessings! ~Lisa
