Easy Peasy Taco Seasoning {Homemade Pantry}

This has got to be one of our family's all time favorites -- so quick and easy!

Easy Peasy Taco Seasoning

2 T. minced dried onion
2 T. chili powder
3/4 t. sea salt
3/4 t. cumin
1 t. garlic powder

Brown 1 pound ground beef (grass fed is best!) over medium heat, drain fat (or not). Add seasonings and 3/4 c. water; simmer uncovered and give it an occasional stir until water evaporates (about 5 - 10 minutes).

A few of our favorite ways to use this recipe are taco salad, burritos, enchiladas, and nachos. Substitute diced or shredded, cooked chicken or pork for variety. Enjoy!

PS: I've been experimenting with taco sauce recipes and have yet to come up with one my family truly likes. I'd appreciate any recipe suggestions you might be willing to share. :)
