A light so lovely...

"We do not draw people to Christ by loudly discrediting what they believe, by telling them how wrong they are and how right we are, but by showing them a light so lovely that they want with all their hearts to know the source of it."

~Madeleine L'Engle

You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

~Matthew 5:13 - 16

A blessed Lord's Day to you all!

  1. Oh to truly practice this. Loving others as we love ourselves. It is not our job to try to change people, but to show them, through our lives, how He changed us!

Be blessed this day my friend,
    m.

  5. Amen! What truthful words, but as Maria has stated, it's not always an easy thing to put into practice. However, I'm not going to give up. :)
