Thankful for...

...my morning cup of coffee.

...the God-given talents of my children.

...the scent of homemade peppermint soap.

...and the freedom to vote.

Have you voted yet?

Counting my blessings one by one and giving thanks for all the Lord is doing in my life -- for the grace and mercy He extends to this imperfect lump of clay. How about you? What are you thankful for today?

  1. That coffee and soap must smell amazing! And WOW on the drawing. Which one of your lovelies drew that? They are very talented indeed.

    1. The wolf is Anna's creation. She sketched all on her own for a contest she's entered. My girls have so much artistic talent, all the glory of the Lord!

Blessings to you, my dear friend. :) ~Lisa

  2. The drawing is awesome, but I must admit that I'm most curious about the soap. I've always wanted to learn how to make it! It must be wonderful.

    1. Thanks for the kind words! One of these days I'll get around to posting a small-batch soap making tutorial here on the blog, but until then, my homemade soaps are available at my Etsy store if you're interested.

Blessings to you and yours! ~Lisa

  4. I have my coffee in front of me.. God given talents are showing themselves in Christmas gift production, I need to learn to make soap :), and yes I did vote and am thankful for the privilege. Tell the artist that I am very impressed!

    1. Debbie, if you're ever in Yacolt, stop on by -- we'll make soap together. :)

AnnaLynn will be thrilled to hear your complimentary words! Seeing our daughters mature in their talents as they mature into young women is an amazing gift from God. Hope your computer woes are fixed soon so that you can share what you and your girls have been up to! Blessings, ~Lisa
