50 isn't so bad :)

Last Friday my beloved celebrated 50 revolutions around the sun and it went sort of like this...

To borrow a phrase from a favorite movie, "It's a wonderful life!" With the very best of friends to help celebrate, with the BEST EVER smoked brisket (thanks, Laurn!), with much-loved family, with gifts from afar, and with a new granddaughter, it was a most wonderful and joy-filled birthday. Yes, the AARP card came in the mail ON his birthday (made me laugh!). The framed photo -- a gift from the kids and me as a memento of our road trip. The book? A weird title, I know, but it was from me -- we love ND Wilson around here! The gargantuan beer mug? A gift from Munich, Germany, from Jess & Zack (missed them...). My man? The most amazing husband, father, and grandfather EVER. :) Can't wait to see what the Lord has for us next, Babe! LOVE YOU!!

~Lisa
