tending my yarn garden...
(and my giveaway winner!)

Knitting: sharing a peek at one of my secret projects! The gorgeous yarn I'm working with KP's Hawthorne Fingering in  the Rose City colorway. I was able to work several rows last night while watching the final episode of Downton (super happy with the way it ended and super happy there will be another season!). This particular project is about halfway finished, and I can't wait to share when it's done! Oh, and did you see my cute knitting bag? It's one of Wanda's creations! You can get one of your own by clicking here! :)

Reading: A Light in the Window by Jan Karon -- I'm about halfway through (seems to be a theme in my life right now...lots of partially finished projects) -- just finished the section where Cynthia and Timothy write letters back and forth to one another while she's away in NY, so sweet. Do you like my bookmark?  It's fitting since lately I barely get a paragraph in before I'm nodding off. :)

A quicky post today...so much going on and the weather has been amazing! Will be by to catch up with you all by the end of the week. Happy knitting!

And before I go...

The winner of my giveaway is Ranee @ Arabian Knits!!! Congrats!

LOVED the finale of Downton! Too bad we only get 9 episodes every year.
I'm waiting on some yarn to arrive so I can get started on a secret project.
