'twas the week before Christmas...

'Twas the week before Christmas and all through the house...

a dolly for Linnea and coffee for me

"Baba, do you want to take my picture?"

Citron...finally off the needles!!

Because all true Jedi wear shawls...

Snow in the Cascade foothills!! No, we didn't get any, although snow is in the forecast for Thursday...fingers crossed!

Anna and pals at the Nutcracker in Portland...

Gifts ready to be wrapped...

A finished knit...and yes, a rare selfie (bathrobe and all). :)

...I heard him exclaim ere he drove out of sight, Happy Christmas to all and Go Steelers!

Well said, Linus. :)

A flurry of activity has me wondering where, oh, where has December gone? It's all been happy festive activity (except trying to wrap up year end quickbooks which is good but not festive...). Lots of knits flying off the needles {Ravelry}, lots of fun trips to town for movies and the ballet with friends, lots of family time, and lots of holiday music. Today is baking and wrapping and finishing that dolly and maybe even casting on something new. There's only three more sleeps 'til Christmas, my friends, so I hope you've got all your to-dos finished so you can relax and enjoy the peace of the season:

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold,
I bring you good tidings of great joy,
which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David
a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you;
Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes,
lying in a manger.
And suddenly there was with the angel
a multitude of the heavenly host praising God,
and saying, Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will toward men.
~Luke 2:10-14

Merry Christmas and wishes for a happy new year!
