Monday morning snow musing...
This was a surprise this morning, and while it's not much, we'll take it! The past few weeks have been exceptionally wintery weatherwise -- not necessarily "normal" for our corner of the Pacific Northwest and a real treat whichever way you look at it. Our forecast was, for a while, calling for Christmas snow, but that's looking less likely as the temps are rising this week. It's all good, though, as we have family driving down from Seattle on Sunday, and I'd hate for them to have to postpone or cancel their plans.
On the topic of travel plans, our Jessica and her family are still in Edinburgh awaiting their wee baby son's traveling visa which without, they cannot get him back into the UK. So sad that their plans to join us for Christmas have been (most likely) dashed, but who knows? My fingers are crossed and my prayers are being lifted. We know and rest in the fact that God is in control of even this. His will is always best even if and when it's not ours.
Six more sleeps 'til Christmas! :)
