  1. Oh I can affirm this. I am glad I was able to keep my heart open and willing even though it hurt so much at the time. But for that I have grown leaps and bounds and praise our mighty Father in heaven. I appreciate these quotes and verses, thank you.

  7. Thanks for the quotes. I'm actually looking at your blog now from Yarn Along. I dislike affliction when I'm going through it, but after it is over, I then realize how much God has used it to bring me closer to Him.

  9. We draw closer to God when we are afflicted - His children do - I am - this week as major changes are upon our family. But I wish I was better at "anticipating" good things that can come out of affliction.
